Why?

My passion for Yoga

To be in the present moment. To sense yourself and to forget everything around you. To show loving kindness to yourself, especially in the moments when you reach your own limits. To feel the peace after a yoga practice when everyone in the room has come to rest and does not want to stand up. That is what yoga means to me – orientation frame, oasis of relaxation and source of energy at once.

How?

How do I create yoga classes?

Yoga is a wide field. Each teacher sets his/her own accents and brings along his/her whole nature and experience. In my yoga classes, I pay attention to the connection between movement and breathing, tension and relaxation. The flow during the exercises invites the mind to come to rest, to focus on yourself and to let go of your everyday life. I recognize and adapt to the experience level of my participants and create a trusting, appreciative and warm atmosphere. I am happy to share my experiences and inspire my students to embrace their own journey of discovery.

What?

What do I offer?

I teach Hatha Flow and Vinyasa for beginners and advanced practitioners.

  • Hatha Flow: This yoga style combines flowing movements and the motionless experience of an asana (posture). The latter enables a correct alignment of the position and improves one's body perception. The exercises are connected to the rhythm of breathing, which supports the harmony between mind and body.
  • Vinyasa: This yoga style is also known as Power Yoga. It is dynamic and physically demanding. The focus is on the flow of movements, in which each posture is linked to one another and synchronized to the breathing. It creates a meditation of movement.

I offer yoga for companies and individuals.

  • Yoga for companies: I gladly support companies that offer yoga as a practice for the well-being of their employees. Each employee brings his/her own mat. Classes take place in the office building or outside depending on the weather.
  • Outdoor yoga: In case of nice weather, I offer open-air courses around Frankfurt am Main. As soon as the temperatures allow it, you will find my course overview below to sign up.

Qualifications & experiences

  • Each Monday at 8pm I offer the “Pure Start-up” beginners’ class at Samana Yoga located in Offenbach.
  • Yoga teacher education aligned to the American Yoga Alliance operated by Timo Wahl in Frankfurt am Main (200 hours)
